VICTORIA ADVOCATE PURCHASES MORRIS DIGITALWORKS' MDTRANSIT® AND MDREALESTATE™ ONLINE PRODUCTS

Augusta, Ga. - The Victoria (Texas) Advocate has purchased two Morris DigitalWorks' online classifieds products, mdTransit and mdRealEstate, as ASP-hosted online solutions for its newspaper Web site. The announcement was made today by Michael Romaner, president of Morris DigitalWorks.

Morris DigitalWorks' mdTransit vertical is a strategically tested online automotive solution that focuses on satisfying local consumer needs in order to generate quality leads to local auto dealers. The vertical's user-friendly interface allows users to search easily across dealer inventories and classifieds ads, returning the most relevant ads and targeted advertising.

Morris DigitalWorks' mdRealEstate vertical provides a comprehensive online real estate marketplace for the local community. The online product's flexible platform and modular design allow the creation of new and exciting presentations of real estate content. Features include photo slideshows, downloadable brochures, mortgage calculators, comparison tools and lead generation capabilities. The vertical supports all real estate classifications.

"The Advocate's acquisition of both mdTransit and mdRealEstate is a clear sign of this company's sheer determination to fight for dominance in the local online space," said Michael Romaner, president of Morris DigitalWorks. "It is that kind of strong, progressive mindset that carries this industry through tough times."

Dan Easton, vice president of interactive for the newspaper, said, "Victoria Advocate's mission is to be the leading news and information provider for the Victoria area and to connect buyers and sellers in our region. The Morris DigitalWorks products support both of these goals."

The Victoria Advocate, Texas' second oldest newspaper and second largest family-owned newspaper, was first published as the Texan Advocate in 1846. In 1961 Morris Roberts became the sole owner of thepaper. Today Roberts' children and grandchildren share in ownership of the independent regional media company. The Advocate's Web site, VictoriaAdvocate.com, was established in 1999.  For more information, visit www.thevictoriaadvocate.com.
